01

Where WhatsApp API projects stall

The platform itself is straightforward. Projects stall on approvals and limits that nobody planned for.

Number already on WhatsApp

A number registered on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app must be migrated or deleted before it can join the API.

Display name rejected

Names that don't match the business, use generic words or break formatting rules are declined, which blocks sending.

Templates refused

Marketing content filed as utility, missing variables or vague wording leads to rejected or reclassified templates.

Low messaging limits

New accounts start with a limit on business-initiated conversations. Without verification and steady quality, it never rises.

Quality rating drops

Messages sent without clear opt-in get blocked and reported, and the number's quality rating and limits fall with it.

No integration plan

An API number nobody can reply from is wasted. Inbox, CRM and automation choices need to be made up front.

02

What the service covers

Everything required to go from no API access to a live, compliant number your team can work from.

WhatsApp Business Account

We create or connect the WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) inside your own Business Manager.

Number registration

We register your number on Meta's Cloud API, including migration from the WhatsApp Business app where needed.

Display name approval

We draft a display name that follows Meta's guidelines and match it to your verified business details.

Business profile

Profile description, address, website, hours and category set up so customers recognise you immediately.

Message templates

We write your first templates in the right category (marketing, utility or authentication) and steer them through review.

Messaging limit plan

We plan verification and sending patterns that let Meta raise your business-initiated messaging limit over time.

Webhooks and integrations

We connect the API to your inbox, CRM, store or chatbot through webhooks, or to a tool of your choice.

Opt-in and quality guidance

Simple rules for collecting consent and sending responsibly, so the number's quality rating stays high.

03

From scope to first conversation

Most numbers are live on day one; templates and limits follow on Meta's timeline.

  1. 1

    Use-case scope

    Day 0

We agree which messages you'll send (support, alerts, marketing, one-time codes) because that decides templates, categories and tooling.

  2. 2

    Account and number

    Day 1*

We set up the WABA, register the number on the Cloud API and confirm it can send and receive.

  3. 3

    Name and profile

    Day 1–3

Display name submitted for approval; business profile completed while it's reviewed.

  4. 4

    Templates

    Day 1–3

First template set written, submitted and adjusted until approved.

  5. 5

    Integration and handover

    Day 2–5

Webhooks or your chosen platform connected, a test conversation run end to end and a written handover note sent.

04

Who this is for

E-commerce stores

Order confirmations, delivery updates and abandoned-cart reminders on the channel customers actually read.

Support teams

A shared WhatsApp inbox with routing and quick replies, instead of one phone on one desk.

Fintech and apps

One-time passcodes and account alerts through authentication and utility templates.

Marketing teams

Opt-in broadcasts and click-to-WhatsApp ads that land in a managed, measurable inbox.

05

What you'll need to provide

Short list. We confirm the details on the scope call.

  • Admin access to your Business Manager through partner access (verified is strongly recommended)
  • A phone number you own that can receive an SMS or voice call for registration
  • If that number is on the WhatsApp app today, a few minutes to migrate or delete it
  • Your business website and a logo for the profile
  • The types of messages you plan to send, with examples
  • Access to your CRM, store or inbox tool if you want it connected

Meta charges for messaging directly, under its current WhatsApp pricing. We don't mark up Meta's messaging fees.

Questions, answered

  • It is the WhatsApp Business Platform for medium and large businesses, accessed through Meta's Cloud API. It lets you message customers from software, support many agents on one number and automate replies, unlike the WhatsApp Business app.

  • The app runs on one phone for small teams. The API has no app of its own; it connects to an inbox, CRM or chatbot so many people and systems can use one number, and it supports approved templates for business-initiated messages.

  • Yes. A number on the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app can be migrated to the API, but it can't stay on the app at the same time. We plan the migration so you don't lose access.

  • You can start without one, but business verification is what lets Meta raise your messaging limits and helps display name approval. We can run verification alongside the setup.

  • Meta charges for messages under its current pricing, which varies by country and message category. Those fees are billed by Meta; our fee covers setup and support only.

  • Templates are pre-approved messages you use to start a conversation outside the customer-service window. Each is classed as marketing, utility or authentication and reviewed by Meta, usually within minutes to a day.

  • They cap how many people you can start conversations with in a rolling 24 hours. New numbers start low; verification, good quality and steady volume let Meta raise the limit in tiers.

  • Meta grants the verified business badge at its discretion to notable, verified businesses. We can prepare and submit the request, but we can't promise the outcome.

  • Most CRMs, help desks and e-commerce platforms that support the WhatsApp Cloud API, or your own system through webhooks.

  • You do. It sits inside your Business Manager. We work through partner access that you can remove at any time.
